Hello Summer (almost)!
With warmer weather approaching the Get Out, Stay Out crew has began planning some serious summer fun! The excursion on the agenda for this coming May is a short hike around Figueroa Mountain, along with some playtime in the nearby creek. Kids will get to learn about native plants and animals, as well as explore some of our most beautiful local trails.
Later in the day we will sit down for a picnic lunch and have a open group talk about the sense of self and personal identity, led by Miss. Gemma.
We will wrap up the evening with some team building activities and games led by Mr. Chris.
Big things are happening in April! The awesome Get Out, Stay Out team has been hard at work putting together our farthest excursion yet! We will be driving north on Highway One, making a few stops at interest points we believe the kids will benefit from. These include the Elephant Seal Vista Point, Ragged Point, and lastly ending at Salmon Creek where we will hike to the waterfall and if weather permits, go swimming in the creek. Stay tuned for any updates as the date approaches, Get Out, Stay Out is coming to Big Sur!
